Ciutadella / Bud Flood

This traditional jazz piano trio features Joe Tatton, keyboardist for The New Mastersounds. This trio is reminiscent of Ahmad Jamal featuring impeccable chord voicing and tasteful phrasing. The title refers to Ciutadella de Menorca, a port city on the west coast of Menorca (Minorca), one of the Spanish Balearic Islands where Joe Tatton has travelled to this Mediterranean paradise often to visit his friend and bandmate in the New Mastersounds, Bassist Pete Shand, who resides on the island.
